Author contibutions
DuJAL requires the inclusion of author contributions and acknowledgements in the published manuscript on the basis of the Contributor Role Taxonomy (CRediT) taxonomy (Brand et al. 2015; see below). Author contributions are compiled by selecting relevant roles (and only those) from the CRediT taxonomy (below) and attributing them to the authors. Not all roles need to be included and which roles are selected is up to the author team. Author contributions should look like this:
Author A: conceptualization, methodology, investigation, writing - original draft; Author B: conceptualization, methodology, writing - review and editing; Author C: writing - review and editing.
The order of authors is a joint decision by the authors and cannot be inferred from this taxonomy. Use the ‘Acknowledgements’ section to acknowledge the work of people who don’t qualify as authors.
