Abstract

Opened at the beginning of the 19th century in the scientific field, the ecological problematic of the relations between the living beings and their environment joins philosophical, literary, artistic, historical and patrimonial concerns. They reflect the complexity of the conceptions relating to the place and the role of the man in nature. At the roots of ecology and ecologism is notably the question of the protection of animals and landscapes.
