Author Biography

  • Jing Sun

    Jing Sun is assistant professor at the School of Humanities at Tsinghua University. She received
    her doctoral degree at Leiden University in 2013, for her research on Johan Nieuhof’s images of
    China. Her recent research focuses on artistic interaction between China and Europe in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Recent publications include The Illusion of Verisimilitude:
